PRIVACY AND COOKIES POLICY

Pursuant to EU Regulation No. 2016/679 (GDPR), and Legislative Ddecree No. 196 of June 30, 2003 as amended, and in general in compliance with the principle of transparency provided for by the above Regulation with this document we provide the rules we apply for managing personal data in order to allow Users to browse the pages on Health Emergencies website.

Data automatically processed and the purpose of the processing

When Users browse the website, read its pages, and download the information contained in it, the website acquires some navigation data, whose transmission is implicit in internet communication protocols. Place of Data Processing and Disclosure of Personal Data

Personal data present on the site and the relating online services are mainly processed in the offices located in the Technology Hub at Povo, via Sommarive 18 – 38123 Trento (Italy) and are only processed by the staff of the Digital Communication and Big Events
and by the contact persons for the management of sites updated by the staff of the Research Centers and of the FBK Administration and Research Support Services Division, each for their respective site(s).

In case of need, website and newsletter related data may be processed by the staff of the website technological maintenance provider, at the provider’s headquarters, normally located within the EU or in countries for which the European Commission has made a decision on their compliance with personal data protection regulations.
No data collected will be shared or disseminated, except in cases expressly provided for by the law and, in any case, in the manner permitted by it. The data may be known to the staff of the Foundation, within the scope of their respective functions and in accordance
with the instructions received, only for the achievement of the purposes listed in this policy.

Rights of Data Subjects

Users (Data Subjects) have the right to contact the Data Controller at any time to exercise
the rights referred to Chapter III of the GDPR and, in particular for:

  • request confirmation as to whether or not their personal data is available;
